Anna Kjær Damgaard Experiments with Tactility (Video)

As part of her graduation project, “THE LUCID NIGHTMARE COLLECTION” designer Anna Kjær Damgaard created a series of concepts that toyed with senses and the way people would normally interact footwear. From paper cups and bags of flower, to styrofoam pellets and plastic bags, each iteration altered the way in which the user walked, their posture while walking and also quite interesting, the sound they made while walking.

“I wanted to change the perception of footwear by affecting people’s senses and imagination through new tactile and visual impressions.” – Anna

Again, this was just one part of the project, which you can see in full here.

In the video below, you can see someone (who I would assume is Anna herself) trying to walk in some of the various iterations of footwear.
